Facilities Managers

Our client is a large blue chip organisation with multiply large operational sites across the UK and Europe.

They are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager with multi-site experience, including a successful track record in operations, maintenance and asset management

The role is looking for an individual who can:

* Provide visible leadership in Health & Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE).

* Be responsible for the team's efficient delivery of customer focused performance that meets Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

* ensure performance in all systems and that planned and reactive maintenance activities and cleaning is effective.

 

Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility for the smoth running of the London offices FM functions including utilities and all mechanical, electrical and plant issues (including utilities)
The current team has started the process to identify larger office space within the city with a view to moving all staff to one location during summer 2010. The Facilities Manager will be fully responsible for all aspects of an office fit-out and relocation, and will have responsibility for ensuring the project is managed through to a successful completion, both operationally and financially.
Responsiblity for the move of all personnel to the new office.
Manage the Facilities Team including reception; ensuring all frequent client visitors are looked after with high degree care.
Liaise with IT to ensure robust operation of AV services (phones and video conference)
Handling all major maintenance issues, dealing with office service contracts and suppliers, managing security, liaising with HR to ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations.
Act as liaison with Building Management and Managing Agents.

The successful candidate will have the ability to co-ordinate and influence a team of administrative assistants who are not direct reports where necessary.

Previous relevant experience is essential within a similar sized organisation.
