BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ACCOUNT MANAGER
£30-35K Basic + uncapped 60k OTE + car/car allowance+ bluechip benefits
My client is a leading player within high value, high tech IT/Telco integrated systems with a turnover of over £250m. Bringing together the best in voice, data, fixed, and mobile solutions they currently service a large number of the UK’s top 500 companies, as well as a whole host of other companies across the country. They are currently looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to have a primary focus selling Support Services through an existing base of accounts
THE ROLE
The purpose of this role is to achieve target by creating and closing new business opportunities in the existing client base. To ensure success, you will form strong relationships with existing Account Management teams and in turn, their customer base. You will need to be proactive in engaging in all customer opportunities to ensure a strong and healthy pipeline and achievement of both personal and company cross sell targets.
RESPONSIBILTIES
- Delivery of target in agreed business areas
- Development and maintenance of accurate and suitably sized pipeline
- Generate sufficient new business to ensure sales targets are met as a minimum
- Develop strong internal relationships with Account Management teams and Operational staff
- Develop a clear understanding of the range of services, inline with overall business objectives
- Establish relationships with key decision makers such as Financial Directors, Technical staff, key senior member of the IT department, within all assigned and potential customers
- Maintain accurate records for forecasting purposes to facilitate on-target revenue generation
THE PERSON
- Commercial and technical knowledge of the PBX marketplace, suppliers, competitors and vendors.
- Experience of tailoring and selling Support Service contracts to large, UK multi-sited (10 sites plus) organisations
- A minimum of 5 years sales experience in the above areas (with experience of managed services desirable)
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of Support Services Contracts and PBX marketplace
- Experience within Managed Services, Calls and Lines, ICT Solutions, Mobility, Data or Document Management Solutions would be advantageous
