REGIONAL SALES MANAGER (SCOTLAND)
One of the most recognised brands in the UK operating across all waste management sectors. With disposal services, treatment and recycling, and Waste collection to over 65,000 local and national customers. The business has received huge investment over the last 12 months and is anticipating 50% growth over the coming 3 years. They now require a dynamic commercial manager to drive this growth and push forward with change process with the ever developing products and services

£35-£40K plus 20% bonus Car/Allowance + bens

In year one your primary focus as the Commercial Manager will be to take the existing team of account managers( 8) and drive forward results for the business through retention of key and general accounts whilst upselling and cross selling into existing business. The business has a new implantation plan for the set up activities required to get the full team of Account managers established and delivering. You will take responsibility of the existing team and also grow and develop this further. You will approach this both strategically and operationally. This requires a proactive attitude to sales and retention as bonus will be based on both sales stretch and delivery of retention targets. The business is changing and continually developing new products to take to market, this person must be able to embrace change.

PURPOSE OF ROLE
* Achieve all regional targets as set by Sales / Collection
* To manage and develop a team, retain and grow industrial customers
* To carry out formal field assessments to the sales team.
* To consolidate and produce weekly/ monthly sales / retention / A/C Management reports as required.
* To liaise regularly with Hub Managers to determine and measure Regional business plans.
* To communicate regularly to a regional sales team inc. a monthly sales meeting.
* To provide strategic, tactical help and support to the Commercial Director of Collection to maintain, develop and implement consistent standards across national field sales.
* To communicate market intelligence to the business whilst supporting innovation within sales.
* To carry out any other reasonable job-related tasks assigned by Commercial Director of Collection.

EXPERIENCE
* At least 12 months management of a similar size team in a fast paced sales environment, business to business account management.
* Preparation of sales plans and design of commission structures
* Set up of new teams and channels including recruitment and training
* Generation and analysis of sales data and standard reports
* Experience of change
