SIPP Administrator, Leeds
A well established and respectable firm of independent financial advisors, based on the outskirts of Leeds, is searching for a Self-Invested Personal Pension (SIPP) Administrator to assist the SIPP Administration Manager in providing a useful and efficient SIPP facility to the company’s clients and its consultants.
Your specific responsibilities within this role will include:
* Liaison with Insurance Companies and Clients on any queries and liaison with Accountants in connection with earnings and tax relief contributions
* Processing new business from proposal through to policy issue
* Maintaining accurate computer records via the system, including all updates
* Production of accurate valuations
* Ensuring files are catalogued appropriately
* Internal liaison with other departments, such as Pension Services, Mortgages or Financial Planning, in conjunction with sales consultants and clients and ensuring that all information is collated
* Ensure that correct information is included in reports before issue to client and ensure completed proposals are correct
* Obtain illustrations for clients
* Analyse information gathered and undertake sufficient research to assist in making suitable recommendations
* General administrative support to the SIPP Administration Manager
The successful applicant will be a team player, with good computer skills, an ability to meet deadlines by prioritising their own workload and exhibit strong communication skills and a good telephone manner, so as to enable them to effectively liaise with outside agencies, clients as well as internal members of staff. You will be confident, outgoing and methodical and, in addition, demonstrate a willingness to learn and take on further responsibility.
