PENSION SERVICES ADMINISTRATOR, LEEDS
£15,000 - £18,000 PER ANNUM
A well established and respectable firm of independent financial advisors, based on the outskirts of Leeds, is searching for a Pension Services Administrator to be responsible for the day-to-day administration of all designated schemes and individuals within the department.

Candidates will need to have previous experience within a similar role as a basic knowledge of Inland Revenue practices, and the way it affects various pension arrangements, is essential. The successful applicant will be a team player, with good computer skills, an ability to meet deadlines by prioritising their own workload and exhibit strong communication skills and a good telephone manner, so as to enable them to effectively liaise with outside agencies, clients as well as internal members of staff. You will be confident, outgoing and methodical and, in addition, demonstrate a willingness to learn and take on further responsibility.
The post holder’s duties and responsibilities will include: -
* Ensure all meetings, enquiries and subsequent dealings with clients and other third parties are conducted in a professional manner and comply with the Company's procedures
* Ensure that all cases are set up immediately and monitored on a regular basis
* Promptly and efficiently deal with all cases in arrears and other problem cases
* Produce reports required by the Manager, T&C Officer, Compliance Officer or a Director of a Company
* Participate in training sessions and meetings, when requested or required
* Deal courteously and efficiently with any matters concerning introducers of business to the Company
* Comply at all times with the Compliance and Training and Competence Procedures as well as the requirements of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000
* Complaint handling
* Assisting Consultants in achieving their targets
* Regular liaison with Insurance Companies and Clients on any queries
* Processing new members and leavers including, where necessary, the calculation and establishment of benefit entitlement
* Maintaining accurate computer records
* Production of accurate valuations
* Prepare necessary papers for Trustees Meetings
* Ensure that correct information is included in reports before issuing to the client and ensuring completed proposals are correct
